The device records the direct force of the rider on the left crank arm of the bike and achieves an accuracy of ± 1% of the actual power. Regardless of whether you are counting calories or logging detailed intervals, Stages Power technology not only delivers the most accurate results, but also ensures consistency.
The data acquisition takes place via Bluetooth 4.0 or ANT + compatible sports equipment (iOS and Android compatible). This simplifies the setup process and ensures that the power meter is compatible with a wide variety of devices, including smart trainers, smart phones and cyclometers. The battery life is 2000+ hours with two standard AA batteries. An LED indicator on the power meter's housing allows you to monitor the power meter's battery level without using the StagesPower app every time you use the device.
