The electromagnetic induction brake forms the core of the Tour 600. The Kettler exercise bike Tour 600 offers two different workout modes. In the watt-controlled mode, users can set a wattage value, and the resistance will adjust to keep the output power constant independent of the cadence, i.e. pedalling speed – ideal for controlled cardio training or performance-orientated training plans. Alternatively, the resistance load can be set directly so the watt power increases with a faster cadence. The settings for the watt programme starts as low as 20 watts and can be fine-tuned in 1-watt increments, allowing for incredibly precise training.

Wide variety of programmes

To provide more motivation and variation, the training computer offers riders a total of 37 different workout programmes. Aside from the 30 gradient profiles, users can create custom programmes or select various target programmes for the time, distance, burnt calories etc. The heart rate controlled programmes help users exercise within certain heart rate zones to effectively pursue particular fitness goals. Wireless connectivity allows users to ride virtual routes in Kinomap or use other interactive fitness apps.
