Taurus Racer Pro Touch: Made for Maximum Performance

The Taurus Racer Pro Touch is a high-end indoor bike designed for the highest demands in performance, stability, and modern technology. With 80 resistance levels, the resistance can be finely adjusted from very light to extremely challenging. All settings (e.g., in the watt program) are very precise and are quickly implemented thanks to the induction brake.

To withstand high intensities, we have also focused on maximum stability. This is noticeable right from the assembly: The feet are solid and heavy, feeling very high-quality. The Taurus Racer Pro Touch is designed for a maximum user weight of up to 180 kg and is also suitable for use in studios or classes.

In the design, we only used the best components; the advanced induction brake has already been mentioned. We made sure that everything feels good when you sit on the bike. For example, the grip material is very pleasant to hold and slip-resistant even with sweaty hands. You can very finely adjust the saddle position to find the optimal seating position. If you use the Smart Bike with multiple people, scales on the seat and handlebar tube ensure that you can quickly find your seating position again.

Haben eine Alternative zu anderen High End Indoor Bikes gesucht mit Freilauf. Der Racer Pro Touch ist in dieser Kategorie von der Preis-Leistung wirklich eine Ansage! Sind mit dem Kauf sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben den Taurus Racer Pro Touch nun über ein halbes Jahr mit der ganzen Familie getestet. Fazit: Lieferung und Aufbau waren völlig unkompliziert. Er ist sehr schnell auf die unterschiedliche Größe aller (fünf) Familienmitglieder einstellbar. Die Lautstärke während der Benutzung ist so gering, dass er ohne Probleme bei uns im Wohnzimmer betrieben werden kann, während andere Personen z.B. Fernsehen schauen. Ich benutze ihn mit der Kinomap - App. Nachdem der zweiwöchige Probezeitraum abgelaufen ist, kann man die App weiterbenutzen, aber nur noch ohne Videos. Man sieht die Strecken und die Gegner, gegen die man virtuell fährt, dann in der Ansicht wie in Google-Maps. Für mich ist das völlig ausreichend. Leider funktionieren die Buttons des Racers für die Einstellung der Belastungsstufen nicht mit Kinomap. Man muss die Belastung am Tablet verändern. Die vielfältigen Sport-Programme, die man mit I-Console Plus benutzen kann, funktionieren ebenfalls gut. Dann hat man ein Feeling, wie im Fitness-Centrum (nur ohne die anderen Sportler)! Hier funktionieren auch die Buttons am Lenker, mit denen man die Belastungsstufen einstellen kann. Ich habe auch mal Zwift ausprobiert. Dabei habe ich Zwift auf dem Handy installiert und dieses mit dem Racer verbunden. Funktionierte auch tadellos. Hier hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass ich Zwift auf dem Tablet des Racers installieren und ausführen hätte können. Dies ist leider nicht möglich. Probleme macht auf dem Racer die Verbindung meines Polar-Brust-Gurtes zur Pulsmessung (H10). Dieser wird mal vom Racer erkannt, mal nicht. Mit dem Brustgurt von Garmin, haben wir das gleiche Problem. Ältere Brustgurte funktionieren überhaupt nicht. Da ich aber meine Trainingsaufzeichnungen nur mit der Polar-App pflege ist dies für mich nicht weiter tragisch, da meine Trainingsuhr den Puls aufzeichnet. Momentan befinden wir uns noch in der Findungsphase für den richtigen Sattel. Nicht alle Benutzer sind mit dem mitgelieferten Sattel zufrieden. Man kann diesen aber gegen jeden beliebigen Sattel austauschen. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden. Man kann sich mit dem Racer auf unterschiedlichem Niveau fitt-halten, Reha betreiben oder völlig auspowern. Genau dies haben wir uns so gewünscht. Wenn man mich nach Verbesserungspotentialen fragt, dann liegen diese in der unstabilen Verbindung mit den Puls-Messgurten sowie in de Verbindung des Racers mit anderen Apps. Des Weiteren wäre es doch toll, wenn man die Trainingsdaten in die Apps von Polar oder Garmin überspielen könnte. Man könnte auch bei den Updates des Gerätes alle gängigen Fitness-Apps mit installieren oder zumindest anbieten ob eine entsprechende App installiert werden soll. Dann wäre die Benutzung eines Handys für die Steuerung von z.B. Zwift nicht mehr nötig und man hätte die große Bildfläche des Tablets dafür zur Verfügung. ... [Lue lisää]

Ich fahre draußen selber viel und wollte etwas für die Nebensaison. Das Bike ist echt gut für zuhause. Ich kann es nahezu so einstellen, wie ich es draußen brauche. Das Fahrgefühl ist einfach gut und zudem kann ich über die Konsole auch Strecken abfahren. Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen, der gerne Rad fährt.
